Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including smoothies, juices, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and standards
• Operate POS systems such as SquarePOS and Toast POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and offering product recommendations
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and dining space in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Handle cash transactions with precision, including processing payments and giving correct change
• Assist in food handling and beverage preparation to ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high service standards

Requirements

• Previous experience as a barista or in food service is highly preferred; café or beverage industry experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Square POS and Toast POS for sales processing
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and measuring ingredients
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as cleaning and food prep efficiently
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours effectively

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 9.0 – 18.0 per week
