Responsibilities:
We're seeking a Head Lifeguard to join our team. As our new Lifeguard you will:
- As our new Head Lifeguard you will:
- Supervise Lifeguard staff
- Work hours as a Lifeguard
- Administrative work as assigned
- Schedule lifeguard staff
- Maintain certification records of all LG staff
- Help the Aquatics Manager with training
- Serves as the manager on deck during events and/or swim meets
- Maintain watch over the pool area ensuring a secure and safe environment
- Employ accident prevention by enforcing pool rules and regulations
- Respond to all injuries, incidents, and emergencies as directed by club policy
- Assist in the maintenance and cleanliness of the aquatics center
- Other duties as assigned
- Three years of Lifeguarding experience
- One year of aquatics supervision
- Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification (basic level)
- Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor Certification or the ability to obtain the certification within 90 days of hire
