Exodus Place is a facility dedicated to helping men transition out of difficult life situations. Our goal is to restore the lives of men who have faced almost hopeless circumstances by providing affordable housing, mentoring, counseling, and encouragement. We also offer assistance with employment resources, Bible studies, and fellowship opportunities. At Exodus Place, we believe in offering a hand up, not a hand out.
This is a full-time on-site role for an Executive Director at Exodus Place, located in Grand Rapids, MI. The Executive Director will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and developing strategic plans to ensure the organization meets its goals. Responsibilities include fundraising, budgeting, community outreach, and monitoring program effectiveness to ensure high-quality services for our residents. The Executive Director will also work closely with the board of directors to implement policies and procedures that align with the mission of Exodus Place.
- Proven leadership and management skills
- Experience in fundraising, budgeting, and financial management
- Strong community outreach, networking, and public speaking abilities
- Knowledge in non-profit management and program development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an on-site environment
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Social Work, Non-Profit Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Experience in a similar role within a non-profit organization is a plus
