Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Monroe, NC, for a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS) who will serve as a Group Facilitator. Responsibilities include organizing and leading substance use group therapy sessions, conducting assessments, and developing tailored treatment plans. The LCAS Group Facilitator will document client progress, provide individual support as needed, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. Additional duties may include educating families on relapse prevention strategies and advocating for clients in community or clinical settings.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in clinical counseling, group facilitation, and substance abuse treatment
- Experience with care coordination, case management, and individualized treatment planning
- Proficiency in therapeutic techniques, relapse prevention, and skills development programs
- Excellent interpersonal communication and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of social determinants of health and their impact on clients' well-being
- Active LCAS certification in the state of North Carolina
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
- Experience in community-based behavioral health settings is a plus
