Duties
- Performance Integration: Execute complex engine, forced induction, and drivetrain upgrades on late-model GM platforms with precision.
- Custom Fabrication: Perform high-level metal work, welding, and structural modifications tailored for track and street performance.
- System Diagnostics: Utilize advanced automotive theory to troubleshoot and refine high-horsepower systems.
- Dyno & Tuning Support: Prepare vehicles for dynamometer sessions and provide mechanical support during live calibration.
- Adaptive Task Flexibility: Maintain the ability to "switch gears" and apply technical skills to any vehicle year, make, or model as well as general site tasks as directed to meet shop needs.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure every build meets rigorous performance standards for safety, reliability, and technical accuracy.
- Collaborative Workflow: Maintain a clean, organized workspace while coordinating with the team to meet project milestones.
Experience
- Pay range varies upon experience.
- Mid-Engine & GM Platform Knowledge: Direct mechanical experience with the C8 Corvette platform and its mid-engine architecture, as well as late-model GM engines.
- Performance & Race Background: Proven background in high-level performance environments; direct experience with TA2 or similar competitive racing series is highly valued.
- Fabrication & Welding: Proficiency in custom fabrication and the safe operation of welding equipment and shop machinery.
- General Automotive Foundations: Must have strong background in automotive repair, specifically involving electrical systems, powertrain components, and transmissions.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Skilled in using knowledge along with diagnostic software and testing equipment to troubleshoot vehicle issues effectively.
- Industry Tooling: Experience using high-performance shop equipment, and dynamometers.
- Tuning Exposure: While not required, experience with performance tuning software and calibration processes is a significant plus.

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
