Key Responsibilities
- Investigate claims and develop evidence supporting liability and damages
- Evaluate cases and create strategies designed to maximize client recovery
- Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers, defense counsel, and other involved parties
- Resolve medical liens and other settlement-related matters
- Maintain consistent, professional communication with clients throughout their cases
- Develop productive relationships with opposing counsel, court personnel, and insurance representatives
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support professionals to move cases forward efficiently
- Provide guidance and oversight to assigned support staff
Qualifications
- Active license and good standing with the Ohio Bar
- Approximately 2–5 years of plaintiff-side or defense-side personal injury experience
- Strong negotiation, communication, and client-management abilities
- Insurance defense or prior claims-handling experience is a significant advantage
