You are helping create and provide memorable experiences during their time at the Club because our members do not just come here for the food and beverages (although it is a perk), they come here for the relationships they have built with our employees and other members. The Position

As an A la Carte Server, you will have a range of responsibilities to ensure a seamless dining experience for our members and guests. You will be providing impeccable service to our members and guests. With a keen eye for detail and a warm, welcoming demeanor, you'll guide members and/or guests through our carefully curated menu, offering recommendations and ensuring that each dining experience is tailored to their preferences. From taking orders and delivering exquisite dishes to anticipating needs and ensuring seamless service, you'll embody the essence of hospitality, creating memorable moments that elevate the dining experience to new heights. Your role isn't just about serving the members and guests; it's about creating connections, fostering a sense of community, and delivering unparalleled service that leaves a lasting impression. Last, but certainly not least, we believe in supporting one another and working as a team in everything we do, so all of our servers are cross-trained between A la Carte and Banquet Events.

The History

Founded in 1896 as Illinois' third golf club, Exmoor is a private, full-service country club located in Highland Park, Illinois, 28 miles north of Chicago. Recognized with the prestigious Distinguished Club designation, Exmoor features a championship golf course designed by Donald J. Ross and continues to fulfill its original mission as a family club devoted to the game of golf, while offering a growing range of sports and social opportunities.

Sports at Exmoor include golf, curling, tennis, swimming, platform tennis, cross-country skiing, and the fastest-growing sport in America, pickleball. Members of all ages enjoy a year-round schedule of exciting social activities.

The Club's mission is to provide the finest golf, sporting, and social experiences for its community of member families and their guests all year long.
