We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented MicroStrategy BI engineer to join our analytics team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, developing, and optimizing business intelligence solutions, leveraging the MicroStrategy platform to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement sophisticated MicroStrategy solutions to meet complex business requirements, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into robust BI solutions that deliver actionable insights.
- Lead the design and development of dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that effectively communicate key metrics and trends to stakeholders.
- Optimize existing MicroStrategy applications and reports for performance, reliability, and usability, utilizing best practices and advanced optimization techniques.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and enhancement of BI capabilities.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in MicroStrategy development, including extensive experience with report development and dashboard design.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with ETL processes.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases, including performance tuning and optimization.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Statistics, Physics, Math, or related field or equivalent experience
• Preferred: master’s degree with coursework focused on advanced algorithms, mathematics in computing, data structures, etc.
