The Chief of Staff to the Chief Digital & AI Officer (CDAO) will act as a strategic and operational lead, ensuring the Digital Engineering, AI Solutions and Data Management teams operate with precision and delivers measurable value for clients. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, delivery excellence, and internal operations—supporting a business that provides digital transformation, data modernization, cloud, AI/ML, and intelligent automation solutions.
Strategic Leadership & Growth Enablement
· Support the CDAO in defining and driving the organization’s digital, data, and AI strategy—including service portfolios, capability roadmaps, and innovation priorities.
· Translate strategy into executable initiatives across practices such as cloud modernization, data engineering, enterprise AI, analytics, automation, and digital platforms.
· Conduct market and competitive analysis to guide strategic decisions in offerings, pricing, talent, and partnerships.
Offering & Portfolio Governance
· Partner with practice leaders to refine, govern, and operationalize digital, data, and AI solutions offerings.
· Track portfolio performance (revenue, margins, pipeline, delivery quality, client outcomes).
Cross-Functional Alignment & Executive Integration
· Act as the operating hub between the CDAO and leaders in Consulting, Delivery, Sales, Technology, HR, and Finance.
· Ensure cross-functional alignment on capability development, solutioning, delivery models, GTM strategy, and client engagements.
· Represent the CDAO in executive forums, steering committees, and strategic meetings.
Client & Engagement Support
· Prepare the CDAO for internal executive meetings and client interactions: opportunity briefs, risk assessments, and outcome frameworks.
· Support escalations by coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring issues are resolved quickly.
Operating Model & Organizational Excellence
· Lead operational rhythms: OKRs, annual planning, quarterly business reviews, portfolio reviews, and leadership meetings.
· Improve processes across solution development, delivery oversight, sales support, and partner management.
· Track KPIs related to utilization, productivity, delivery quality, AI adoption, and talent capabilities.
Communications & Executive Readiness
· Craft high-quality executive communications, including board updates, investor materials, and internal announcements.
· Develop narratives around AI transformation, digital modernization, innovation, and customer success.
· Ensure the CDAO org communicates consistently and effectively across the company.
Special Projects & Strategic Initiatives
· Lead or coordinate high-impact projects such as:
Building strategic alliances with hyperscalers or AI platform providers
Operationalizing IP-led delivery models
Driving internal AI adoption and productivity initiatives
· Handle confidential work with discretion and executive maturity

Qualifications
· Ability to lead digital and data transformation consulting, services and product
· Ability to create digital/AI transformation strategy and drive implementation
· Exceptional communication (written, visual, verbal) and ability to synthesize complex technical and business concepts.
· Solutioning or delivery expertise for data, cloud, or AI initiatives.
· MBA or advanced degree in technology, data, or business. Engineering degree will be preferred.
· Understands build of IP and driving IP led revenue
· Ability to shape and execute end-to-end digital strategy including portfolio evolution, capability buildout, and innovation priorities
· 8–12 years of experience in technology, analytics and AI consulting, technology strategy, digital transformation, or data/AI-driven services.
· Strong understanding of digital platforms, data engineering and management, advanced analytics, cloud, AI/ML, and automation.
· Proven ability to work with C-level leaders and manage complex cross-functional initiatives.
· Exceptional communication skills—able to synthesize complexity and translate it into clear actions.
· Strong business and financial acumen: portfolio performance, profitability, utilization, pricing, and forecasting.
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $190,000 - $210,000
