Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator/ Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various tools and equipment to fabricate, repair and assemble metal structures. Pay based on experience
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Measure and mark dimensions for metal fabrication
- Operate power tools such as drills, grinders, and saws
- Utilize micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments
- Perform stick, tig and mig welding to join metal components
- Use press brake machines to bend metal sheets
- Assemble fabricated metal parts to build structures
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues
Skills
- Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints
- Strong understanding of basic math for measurements and calculations
- Experience with stick,tig and mig techniques
- Familiarity with fast pace shop environments
- Ability to operate power tools effectively
- Knowledge of press brake machines for bending metal sheets
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour
