Tasks
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression

- Answer phone inquiries with clear communication, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Assist guests with seating preferences, special requests, and provide information about menu options when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station to ensure a welcoming environment
- Support food safety protocols by adhering to hygiene standards during guest interactions and table setups
Experience
- Previous experience as a host or hostess in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of restaurant reservation management and POS systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence
- Demonstrated ability to handle phone communication professionally and efficiently
- Basic math skills for managing reservations, waitlists, and guest counts accurately
- Experience in hospitality or guest relations roles that require organizational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with food safety standards and restaurant operations
