Summary
We are looking to hire a data entry coordinator with excellent organizational and administrative skills. Data entry coordinators are expected to be compassionate and discrete with superb time management and record-keeping skills.
To ensure success, this candidate should be confident and professional administrators with fantastic communication and interpersonal skills that will contribute to the efficient day-to-day administration of our office. Top candidates will work comfortably under pressure while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment and can effectively react to patient emergencies.
Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry into the CTMS system.
- Professionally assist doctors, staff, visitors, and patients.
- Perform all duties within HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of all doctor, staff, and patient information.
- Enter patients into the site’s clinical database ensuring accurate contact information and basic patient demographics
- Responsible for gathering necessary information from the research participants (i.e., HIPAA, Medical Chart Release Authorization, Questionnaires) and when applicable, medical records
- Responsible for maintaining various site logs (i.e., study subject enrollment logs, pre-screen, and screening logs) as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Required Skills/Abilities:
- Rudimentary knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to use the following technology: Computers, Microsoft Office software, fax, copier, and multi-line telephone.
- Understanding of verbal, written, and organizational skills
- Ability to work as a team player
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Great communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to follow written guidelines
- Ability to be flexible/adapt as daily schedule may change rapidly
Education and Experience:
- High school graduate and/or technical degree
Physical Requirements:
- Sit or stand for long periods of time
- Communicate in person and by a telephone
- Limited walking required
- Limited to lifting up to 30 pounds

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

- Please acknowledge this is a 1099 contractor offer with an expected duration of 3-4 months. Depending on business need in 2026 the contract could be extended beyond the initial period.
