Production Technician

We are seeking a Pre Roll Technician - I to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the packaging process of products in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand tools, and experience in packaging operations within a manufacturing environment. This position plays a vital role in ensuring product quality, safety, and timely delivery by executing packaging tasks efficiently and accurately. Key Responsibilities:Including preparation, monitoring, and quality checks to ensure proper fill and consistencyOperate packaging machinery and equipment following standard operating procedures to ensure consistent product qualityAssemble, inspect, and package products according to specifications while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and FDA regulationsUtilize hand tools and mechanical knowledge to perform minor repairs or adjustments on packaging equipmentMaintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standardsAssist with inventory management by handling warehouse materials and supplies using forklift or other material handling equipmentFollow safety protocols when operating machinery or handling hazardous materialsSupport continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies and suggesting enhancementsDocument packaging activities accurately in production records for traceability and compliance purposesExperienceRequirementsCandidates should have prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, with a focus on packaging operations. Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is advantageous but not mandatory. The ideal applicant will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with hand tools, and the ability to operate forklifts safely. Knowledge of CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards, FDA regulations, and warehouse procedures is highly desirable.
