Job Description:
This is a senior experience role, consisting of more direct sales/sales support related functions but is not a “hunter” position. Account Directors are assigned to key accounts of varying size, champion new proposals, RFP responses and projects through the organization. They oversee all aspects of successful execution of client deliverables (tangible and intangible commitments.)
Responsibilities
- Manages all aspects of existing account relationships
- Coordinates with Account Managers on arranging show services
- Coordinates with Project Managers on production requirements
- Coordinates with the Warehouse to ensure proper shipments
- Coordinates with accounting so that customers are invoiced in an accurate and timely manner, bills from suppliers are vetted and submitted in a timely manner, and helps in collections from customers as necessary
- Works with the design department as a design consultant on existing client design projects
- Travels with customer’s exhibits to show to manage as necessary
- Works with Results Division to consult on ROI for existing clients
- Helps upsell and cross sell into existing accounts
Minimum Requirements/ Qualifications
- 4 year degree
- 2-3 years individual outside sales experience selling in a business to business environment.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and close new business.
- Successful track record achieving or exceeding individual sales targets.
- Understanding of basic marketing principles.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Custom Exhibits, Trades Shows, Graphics, Museums or Design
- Experience in a Design/Build environment
- Formal training in consultative/high value selling.
- Proven track record of successfully maintaining and growing existing accounts.
