What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1.0 FTE School Psychologist/School Social Worker position at Exeter-West Greenwich Regional School District?
Provide counseling and evidence-based related services/interventions for identified students and/or as documented on IEPs. Actively support school-wide, preventative and proactive strategies to address social-emotional competencies/social-emotional health. Facilitate support groups based on student needs. Serve as an integral member of the school's MTSS team. Actively locate community resources to assist students and families in need. Consult with teachers and other staff to address behavioral and social-emotional needs of students. Document specialized and related services for identified students through the IEP process. Collect and analyze data for academic and/or behavioral needs. Conduct evaluations, as appropriate, to include Functional Behavior Analyses, Social Histories and/or Psychological Assessments.
The School Psychologist/School Social Worker is a district position. School assignments will be considered based on the strengths and experience of existing staff and the chosen candidate.
