Support primary care teams remotely by completing indirect patient care tasks. Remote inbox providers collaborate with on-site providers and staff to co-manage the medical needs of patients.
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree
- 3-5 years’ clinical experience in primary care, coverage for all ages is required.
- Board-certified APRN, PA-C
- DEA
- NH License
Major Responsibilities:
- Respond to patient calls and portal messages requiring provider input.
- Review and refill medication refill requests.
- Coordinate patient care with triage and care coordination nurses.
- Communicate lab and diagnostic test results to patients.
- Complete peer-to-peer review with insurance company for authorization of testing or treatment when needed.
- Attend regularly scheduled virtual meetings with on-site providers.
- Other duties as assigned.
