The Emergency Department at Exeter Hospital cares for a diverse patient population with a wide range of medical needs. With annual volumes of approximately 33,000 patients, the department is one of the busiest in the Seacoast area. In addition to the main Emergency Department, comprised of 21 beds, there is a 6-bed Minor Care area. Our Emergency Department nurses possess strong clinical assessment skills, superior judgment, and the ability to manage challenging situations and set priorities. They care for patients of all ages with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses in the following settings: triage, critical care, trauma care, emergency care and the Minor Emergency Care Unit (MECU).

Oversees the operation of one or more patient care business units or corporate programs.

Requirements

  • Nursing Unit Oversight: Bachelor's degree in Nursing required or combination of Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in Nursing. Other Clinical Areas: Minimum entry level degree for clinical area with preference for a Bachelor's degree (or higher)
  • 7-10 years related experience
