Role Description The Men’s Selling Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Boston, MA, responsible for leading the sales team within the men’s department to achieve revenue and service goals. This role oversees daily floor operations, including managing selling behaviors, ensuring merchandise is presented according to brand standards, and maintaining a visually appealing and organized environment. The Men’s Selling Manager coaches and develops team members, sets individual and department sales targets, and provides real-time feedback to drive performance and client satisfaction. The role collaborates with store leadership and merchant teams to support promotions, product launches, and special events, while monitoring key performance metrics and implementing action plans. The Men’s Selling Manager also builds and maintains strong client relationships, supports clienteling efforts, and ensures adherence to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in luxury retail sales management, preferably in men’s apparel, accessories, or footwear.
- Strong leadership skills, including team coaching, performance management, and the ability to motivate and develop selling talent.
- Proven ability in client relationship building, clienteling, and delivering high-touch, service-driven customer experiences.
- Solid understanding of retail operations, including floor management, inventory awareness, merchandising standards, and loss prevention practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Analytical skills to interpret sales reports, KPIs, and customer insights and translate them into actionable strategies.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications; experience with CRM or clienteling tools is a plus.
- Prior experience supervising or leading a retail sales team; luxury or fashion industry experience strongly preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; postsecondary education in business, fashion, or a related field is beneficial.
