Primary Purpose

Provide functional application support to the finance community for the Oracle Cloud ERP or EPM applications. Serve as a system administrator and system configurator. Applications in scope include Actuals - GL, PPM, EDMCS, EPCM, FCCS, ARCS; Planning EPBCS Projects/Financials/Workforce, EPCM, EDMCS, Narrative Reporting, PPM Program & Extension.

Primary Duties

• Provide application support for monthly book close or forecast/budget processes,.
• Perform configuration management, test and implement system fixes, updates and enhancements by working closely with Exelon IT, Corporate Accounting and the Finance Community
• Coordinate changes that impact other financial systems
• Maintain required documentation to support Sarbanes Oxley/management controls and audit requests
• Facilitate process improvement through use of technology
• Respond to help desk tickets, data requests and perform special projects as assigned
• Provide functional training support to the finance communities at Exelon.
  
  

Job Scope

The position is an application support role for Oracle Cloud applications, requiring knowledge of accounting orand consolidation financial planning systems and business processes. Requires the ability to do impact analysis on system change requests and the ability to analyze and diagnose system issues in an accurate and timely manner. This position interacts directly with accounting/finance and IT personnel, therefore strong communication skills and a customer service orientation are required. We are currently moving to Oracle Cloud Software

Minimum Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or computer science
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in accounting or accounting systems related position
• Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and teams concurrently
• Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure
• Commitment to highest standards of quality and integrity
• Solid analytical capabilities
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and team working capabilities
• Strong aptitude of accounting systems and technology
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• MBA in Finance, Accounting or Systems
• CPA or other financial certification
• Public Accounting experience
• Utility industry experience
• Oracle Cloud ERP/EPM experience

• Annual salary will vary based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $67,200.00/Yr. – $92,400.00/Yr.
