Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and optimize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce tools to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems via RESTful APIs and other web services to ensure data consistency and real-time updates.
- Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce environments, ensuring high performance, security (RBAC), and compliance with best practices.
- Write clean, efficient code using version control systems such as GitHub and SVN; participate in code reviews and testing procedures.
- Support deployment processes utilizing tools like Salesforce DX, ensuring smooth releases across environments.
- Stay updated on the latest Salesforce features and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions that improve efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer or similar role with a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform architecture.
- Proficiency in Apex programming language, Visualforce pages, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs.
- Solid knowledge of web development technologies including JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and frameworks such as React or Express.js.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with other systems using RESTful APIs and web services; familiarity with JSON/XML data formats.
- Strong background in software development methodologies including Agile practices; experience with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Familiarity with version control tools like GitHub or SVN for collaborative development.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure components such as AWS, Azure cloud platforms, Linux environments, MySQL databases, and application deployment processes.
- Additional skills in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, C , VBA, or SQL are advantageous for complex integrations or customizations.
- Understanding of security protocols including RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) to safeguard sensitive data within Salesforce environments.
