Material Handler
Position Summary:
The Material Handler is responsible for all aspects of handling, moving, and tracking materials and components as well as completing documentation in support of and producing pharmaceutical products following cGMP regulatory standards, SOPs to ensure the product is safe, pure, and effective. This is a Pittman schedule position which operates as 2-2-3.
Job Responsibilities:
- Unload, move and store materials as requested
- Inspect and Deliver incoming shipments
- Receive, inspect and deliver daily incoming shipments
- Pick BOM(s) (Bill of Materials)
- Complete pick-ups and deliveries between facility sites
- Utilize SAP for more complex material transactions
- Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and shipping/receiving areas
- Work under general supervision
- Complete Resource Conservation and Recovery Act training within 6 months of hire and annually thereafter
- Must have a Current Driver’s License
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
- Ability to read and write English
- Must have good communication skills
- Ability to complete basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, division)
- Must be mechanically inclined and able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must have attention to detail, multi-task, and handle multiple priorities without undue stress or errors
- Ability to operate computer programs, such as Excel, Word, and Flowlytics
- Must be able to operate a pallet jack
- Must be able to operate a forklift

- 1 year warehouse experience
