Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload materials using heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks.
• Sort and organize incoming and outgoing shipments with accuracy, utilizing RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
• Perform order picking tasks with precision, including picker operations for efficient order fulfillment.
• Ensure proper handling of materials during shipping and receiving processes, adhering to OSHA safety standards.
• Operate heavy equipment like forklifts, cranes, and clamp trucks to move large or heavy loads safely within the warehouse.
• Assist in inventory management by loading, unloading, and stacking materials on pallets or shelves.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment while following safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling.

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or materials handling roles.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and clamp trucks; certification preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge or experience with warehouse management systems is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment use.
• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and extended periods of standing or walking.
• Experience with RF scanners for order picking and inventory tracking.
• Prior warehouse supervisor experience or leadership skills are a plus for growth opportunities.
