Key Responsibilities
- Automation Testing: Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions to improve testing efficiency, product quality, and compliance with specifications.
- Test Environment Management: Create, configure, and maintain test environments that simulate different user scenarios and conditions.
- Bug Reporting: Identify, document, and communicate software defects clearly and accurately, collaborating closely with developers for swift resolution.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including development, product, and operations, to ensure thorough testing coverage and continuous improvement.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to enhancing testing methodologies, tools, and best practices to drive excellence in the development lifecycle.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 2 years of proven work experience in automated QA.
- Proficiency in programming and scripting languages (e.g. TypeScript / PowerShell / C#).
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) systems.
- Solid knowledge of backend testing (APIs, DBs, Microservices).
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- A proactive, shift-left mindset ability to identify issues early and work to prevent them.
