The Sr. Data Analyst role will work within the UnitedHealthcare Stars & Quality team and be responsible for development of world-class data quality tools, data analysis, and test automation within a continuous delivery lifecycle. You will be accountable for delivering test automation solutions in accordance with enterprise standards and within development and operational guidelines.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Primary Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the data automation framework using Python, Azure, Snowflake
- Automate builds and deployments using CI/CD pipelines (YAML-based workflows such as ci.yml, promote-image.yml, etc.)
- Maintain Git repositories
- Support development / deployments of LLM, AI/ML, and Gen AI models which leverage the United AI framework and closely work with the Responsible Use of AI and data governance teams
- Provide input to cloud cost management, cost optimization, and forecasting
- Provide training and support to the data quality team and stakeholders in the use of the data quality automation framework and AI applications
- Collaborate with cloud network admins to deploy products into Azure cloud Kubernetes environment
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience developing and maintaining a data automation framework
- 5 years of experience with CI/CD Tools: GitHub Actions, Git repositories, Azure DevOps
- 3 years of experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- 3 years of experience with Python or similar programming language
- 2 years of experience writing SQL queries with exposure to Snowflake environment
- Proven experience implementing AI/ML solutions on cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data quality analysts, and business stakeholders
- Experience within the healthcare industry
- Experience and proficiency with data quality and QA processes
- Knowledge of HEDIS and Star Quality Specifications
- Demonstrated self-motivation and initiative
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
