Job Overview

In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. You will review and analyze multi-faceted, larger-scale, or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Additionally, you will contribute to the resolution of complex situations requiring a solid understanding of functional policies, procedures, and compliance requirements to meet deliverables. Strategic collaboration and consultation with client personnel will also be a key aspect of this role.

Responsibilities

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering.
• Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
• Contribute to the resolution of complex situations requiring a solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel to meet deliverables.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 5 years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
• 7 years of full-stack Software Engineering experience.
• 5 years of UI development experience, including Angular and/or React development.
• 5 years of SDLC experience, including repository, build, and deployment tools (GitHub, Maven, Harness, UDeploy, etc.).
• 5 years of Core Java experience.
• 5 years of distributed servers platform experience.
• 5 years of relational database experience.
• 3 years of Agile methodology experience.
• BS/BA degree or higher.
  
  

Additional Skills:

• Experience with MongoDB (preferred).
• OpenShift (OCP) cloud experience (preferred).
• Messaging experience, such as Kafka (preferred).

Pay Range: $70 - $75

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
