As required by the Equal Pay Transparency Act, Epirus provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
For the state of California only, the range of starting pay for this role is:
$163,300-$187,000 USD

We're Looking For a Senior-level Front-end Engineer. A Successful Candidate Will Have Deep Experience Implementing And Developing All Aspects Of Web-based UIs And Will Leverage That Experience To Do The Following
- Make powerful insights into our architectural decision-making, including framework trade-offs, state-management solutions, API and business layer patterns, and error-handling strategies
- Collaborate effectively with UX/UI designers to ensure the seamless translation of design concepts into functional, user-friendly interfaces
- Collaborate effectively with our backend teams to improve API designs
- Integrate novel front-end tech into our stack
- Take ownership of significant new features and plan them with meaningful technical document requirements descriptions, design wireframes, and software design diagrams
- Optimize not just performance but developer experience, CI/CD, and testing
- Be a force for readability and clean coding patterns in our codebase.
- Mentor and collaborate effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of professional front-end/UI development experience, JavaScript and TypeScript Expert
- Mastery in building UI applications with React
- Competence in at least one set of front-end build tools, bundling, and transpilation
- Competence in at least one set of testing frameworks for unit, integration, and e2e testing (e.g., Jest, Playwright)
- Mastery of CSS, SASS, and experience with Bootstrap, Tailwind, Material-UI, Shadcn
- Experience optimizing performance for real-time React applications
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development
- Experience working with a design/development pipeline
- At least 1 years with at least one of the following: web-based 3d rendering, data visualization, mapping libraries
- Experience with wireframing/design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch)
