Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Extract data from Oracle databases using SQL and perform statistical analysis to support ongoing reporting needs
- Identify, compile, and clean data for research projects while analyzing trends and patterns in complex datasets
- Oversee evaluation and research projects, communicate findings to leadership and stakeholders, and prepare results for publication
- Develop data visualization dashboards using Tableau and manage internal and external data requests
- Collaborate with external research partners and provide guidance to junior team members
- 5 years of experience with reporting packages (Business Objects), databases (SQL, Oracle), and programming (XML, Javascript, ETL frameworks)
- 3 years of experience accessing and extracting data from organizational or institutional databases
- 3 years of proficiency in queries, report writing, and presenting findings
- 1 year of strong analytical skills with ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in a related field with 2 years in a lead/supervisory role OR Associate's degree with 4 years of related experience (2 in lead/supervisory role) OR 2 years as IT Business Analyst or equivalent
- 2 years of relevant work experience in the Criminal Justice field and/or Data Management/Analysis
- 1 year of experience with data visualization software (Tableau)
