Key Responsibilities
- The Commercial Title Coordinator will act as the primary point of contact for Real Estate Investors, Developers, Attorneys, and Banks.
- Prepare proformas.
- Prepare Settlement Statements in accordance with Lender Closing Instructions.
- Conduct Closings and handle support prior to and during settlement process.
- Review of clearance documents including title commitment and information collected by Clearance Offices to make sure to make sure all requirements have been cleared and meet underwriter requirements.
- Use knowledge and expertise to resolve title commitment requirements that the clearance team is not authorized to handle.
- Maintain system to ensure milestones are met in accordance with company policy.
- Prepare completed files for disbursement.
- Address all client requests and parties associated with the transaction in a timely manner.
- High School Diploma.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Paralegal Certification is a plus!
- 3 years of title industry experience, NY, NJ, PA preferred.
- Strong understanding of real estate title closing procedures and legality.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
