This is a unique opportunity to join an excellent team and have a meaningful impact on the Quality Engineering and automation process and culture. This role is focused on building and improving test automation and processes to ensure the quality of Broadridge internally written applications. The ideal candidate will aid with the current transition off manual testing and over to automated testing. This is a remote role where you will work off-site. Travel is limited and generally used for team learning and collaboration meetings. Responsibilities: Define test strategy, test suites, test cases as well as design tools for QA testing with a focus on automation. Define and implement improvements to our existing processes and automated tools with the goal of increased testing scope and efficiency. Work closely with Software Engineers and Product teams to understand the complex ecosystems of the Broadridge Investor Communications Solutions platforms. Lead development and maintenance of automated scripts promoting reusable components and maintainability. Maintain and enhance capabilities of existing Serenity/Selenium/UFT automation framework. Provide guidance and review automation code developed by other team members. Performfailure analysis to determinerootcauseof failures. Assist with triage, diagnosis, and resolution of issues discovered across the platform. Where necessary, develop and execute manual test cases. Drive the conversion of manual tests to automated whenever possible. Supporting manual testing efforts while the transition is in process. Demonstrable ability to develop APIs and automated API tests, tools, and frameworks. Rest Assured preferred Contribute to end-to-end acceptance tests. Work with both onshore andoffshoreteams to meet objectives and deadlines. Basic Qualifications 4 years of experience as a software developer, QA Engineer, or SDET 4 years of hands-on experience with Java and Selenium or UFT 4 years designing, implementing, and running test cases. 4 years working with test processes, methodologies, tools, and technology. 4 years performing functional and UI testing, quality reporting. Experience Developing/maintaining Automation Frameworks using Selenium WebDriver Experience in Automation Environment setup using Eclipse/Intellij, Java, Selenium WebDriver, Maven, TestNG and Git. Experience on Serenity with JBehave/Cucumber framework Proficiency CICD integration and pipeline development in Jenkins, Spinnaker or other similar tools. Experience in writing medium/sophisticated SQL Queries Proficient in analyzing functional requirements and creating detailed test strategy/plan. Attending Agile meetings (Daily scrum meeting/Sprint planning/Backlog refinement) on assigned projects Experience working in an Agile methodology using Jira and X-Ray Experience in testing/automating REST APIs (PostMan, Fiddle, Rest Assured) Passion around driving best practices in the testing space.
