Base Pay Range
$55.00/hr - $65.00/hr
Responsibilities
- Manage ETL processing with Python, Oracle, and Unix, including both batch ETL and real-time stream processing
- Load and process large data sets from multiple vendors, performing data cleansing, transformation, and analytics with a focus on data modeling
- Perform performance tuning for existing SQL and PL/SQL objects and build optimized database components
- Create complex Unix shell scripts to automate batch job processing and generate real-time and daily reports on a weekly basis
- Conduct logical and physical database design, data modeling, and prepare design specifications to analyze dependencies and assess risks
- Develop and maintain technical specifications, data mappings, program logic, and flowcharts for all change requests
- Write advanced queries to identify and remediate potential issues when interfaces fail
- Automate flat file loading into Oracle using SQL*Loader, including the creation of control files for efficient data import
- 9 years of experience designing and developing Oracle procedures, functions, triggers, packages, materialized views, and views using advanced features of Oracle 11g and 12c
- To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
- Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
