In This Role, You Will

• Collaborate across Agile teams to design, develop, test, and implement robust technical solutions utilizing full-stack development tools and technologies.
• Work alongside experienced developers focusing on machine learning, distributed microservices, and full stack systems.
• Utilize programming languages such as Python, Java, and Scala, along with Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, along with cloud-based data warehousing services like Redshift and Snowflake.
• Stay ahead of tech trends by exploring new technologies, engaging in technology communities, and mentoring fellow engineers.
• Partner with digital product managers to deliver innovative cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans financially.
• Conduct thorough unit tests and code reviews to ensure your solutions are high-quality, well-designed, and optimized for performance.
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree.
• At least 3 years of experience in application development, excluding internship experience.
• At least 1 year of experience with big data technologies.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of application development experience, particularly with Python, SQL, Scala, or Java.
• 2 years of experience working with public cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
• 3 years of experience in distributed data/computing technologies (e.g., MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, MySQL).
• 2 years of experience in Real Time data and streaming applications.
• 2 years working on NoSQL implementations (such as MongoDB or Cassandra).
• 2 years of experience in data warehousing solutions (Redshift or Snowflake).
• 3 years proficiency with UNIX/Linux including basic commands and Shell Scripting.
• 2 years of experience in Agile engineering practices.

The minimum and maximum annual salaries for this role are as follows:

• McLean, VA: $158,600 - $181,000
• Plano, TX: $144,200 - $164,600
• Richmond, VA: $144,200 - $164,600
• Wilmington, DE: $144,200 - $164,600
