Akkodis is seeking a Data Engineer II that will work on all phases of the software development lifecycle supporting a variety of projects and applications. This role will be a mid-level position, with an expectation of continuing to build technical skills with increasingly more complexity and responsibility on projects. Candidates for this position will have prior experience delivering efficient, secure, high performance, and easy-to-support solutions primarily within the Microsoft suite of technologies.

Essential Functions
- Analyze, fix, and test production support tickets for a variety of systems
- Build ETL which loads complex data warehouse objects including dimensions, hierarchies, fact tables, and aggregates
- Provide clear and concise explanation and interpretation of the business needs to reach agreement and ensure understanding of needs
- Work with a cross functional team to understand the business issues or identify opportunities and gather Design and system requirements
- Build and deploy customer facing Bl solutions (Analysis cubes, Power BI) and build the reporting metadata layer
- Develop and support data marts and cubes to support functional area data consumers
- Support and create data pipelines
- Gather, analyze, and document user reporting and/or data feed requirements
- Provide escalated support for junior team members
- Perform any other assigned tasks deemed necessary by management
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- 3 years of experience with Microsoft SQL and Microsoft Azure technologies including Power BI
- 1 years of experience with Azure Data Lake and Informatica
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, analytical and decision-making skills, and ability to work on cross-functional teams
- Solid understanding and usage of source control solutions
- Change and release management skills
- Requirements gathering and documentation skills
