Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled AWS Network Engineer with deep expertise across AWS networking services and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience designing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud network architectures, supporting full lifecycle implementation, and mentoring teams on cloud best practices.

Key Responsibilities Network Design & Architecture

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of AWS network architectures, including VPCs, subnets, routing tables, NAT gateways, and transit gateways.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability for AWS workloads across multiple regions.
• Design secure and compliant networking patterns for hybrid and multi-cloud deployments.
  
  

Automation & Infrastructure Management

• Automate network provisioning and management using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools.
• Develop scripts to enhance network monitoring, configuration, and operational efficiency.
  
  

Security & Compliance

• Apply AWS security best practices, including Security Groups, NACLs, IAM roles, and encryption mechanisms.
• Ensure network compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.
  
  

Monitoring & Troubleshooting

• Monitor cloud network performance using AWS CloudWatch, VPC Flow Logs, and other monitoring tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve networking issues, including connectivity, routing, and cross-region communication.
  
  

Collaboration & Leadership

• Work with DevOps, cloud engineering, and security teams to ensure seamless deployment and integration of cloud workloads.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on network best practices.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 7 years of professional experience in AWS network design, implementation, or cloud engineering.
• Deep understanding of AWS networking services (VPC, Route 53, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Load Balancers, Security Groups, NACLs).
• Experience designing scalable and reliable cloud architectures.
• Hands-on expertise with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and scripting (Python, Bash).
• Familiarity with AI/ML cloud services like SageMaker, Amazon Q, or related technologies.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and mentorship skills.
  
  

Preferred

• Experience leading engineering teams or acting as a technical lead.
• Familiarity with hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
• Knowledge of network performance tuning and optimization strategies in AWS.
