Job Description Summary
Looking for a self-motivated Accounts Payable professional, that works well in a fast-paced, high volume, deadline driven environment. This position will report directly to the Accounts Payable Supervisor and work closely with Operations and Accounting team members.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
- Be responsible for full cycle Accounts Payable processing, including the input/coding of vendor invoices, employee expense reimbursements, weekly check runs, and posting payroll and ACH/Wire activity
- Ensure that all proper documentation is attached, and approvals are obtained
- Research and correct any account discrepancies
- Help with reconciling monthly statements
- Maintain accounts payable reports and files
- Download online vendor invoices
- Sort and distribute/scan mail
- Respond to vendor inquiries or issues
- Other duties and projects as needed
- 1-5 years Accounts Payable experience. Bachelors degree is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- The ability to sit frequently for 3-6 hours.
- The ability to frequently stand for 3-6 hours.
- The ability to occasionally drive/operate foot control for 1-3 hours.
- The ability to walk intermittently on level and or unlevel surface for less than 1 hour.
- The ability to intermittently bend or climb for less than 1 hour.
- The ability to occasionally twist, kneel, crouch and crawl for 1-3 hours.
- The ability to lift 10 pounds occasionally for 1-3 hours.
- The ability to lift 11-50 pounds intermittently for less than 1 hour.
- The ability to carry up to 10 pounds occasionally for 1-3 hours.
- The ability to carry 11-50 pounds intermittently for less than 1 hour.
- The ability to push up to 10 pounds occasionally for 1-3 hours.
- The ability to push 11-50 pounds intermittently for less than 1 hour.
- The ability to pull up to 10 pounds occasionally for 1-3 hours.
