Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to support cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, and continuous delivery pipelines within an Azure environment. This role involves managing and executing backlog work items handed off from an engineering team located internationally, requiring consistent and proactive communication, clear progress tracking, and strong ownership of deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
- Support and enhance Azure cloud infrastructure environments.
- Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub.
- Write, modify, and maintain Terraform modules and associated state.
- Take ownership of backlog tasks, drive them to completion, and communicate status clearly.
- Troubleshoot environment, provisioning, and deployment issues as they arise.
- Document deployment processes, environment changes, and operational improvements.
- Work directly with engineering teams in different time zones to align and hand off work.
- 5 years of hands-on DevOps / Cloud Engineering experience.
- Strong experience with Azure cloud services in production environments.
- Proficiency with Terraform, including module development and state management.
- CI/CD experience using GitHub (GitHub Actions preferred).
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, and/or Python.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Comfortable coordinating with engineering teams in different time zones.
- This role requires ongoing overlap with a UAE-based team. Candidates may choose one of the following styles depending on preference:
- Option 1: Early-start schedule (e.g., 4:005:00 AM PST start)
- Option 2: Standard daytime schedule with a brief evening overlap check-in (e.g., around 9:00 PM PST)
- The hiring manager is flexible the key requirement is 1 hour of live collaboration with the UAE team per working day.
- Onsite in Las Vegas preferred for collaboration and environment familiarity.
