The Senior Infrastructure Engineer isa jack of alltradesrole,whose primary skill is being able to researchand find solutionsto tacklealmost any problemthey are challenged with. You willberesponsible fordesigning, securing, andmaintainingStream ITs core infrastructure with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Azure and Fortinet technologies. This role supports hybridcloud environments,leadsmodernization initiatives, and serves as a senior escalation point for complex network, identity, and systems issues.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Cloud Engineering
Architect, deploy, andmaintainAzure IaaS/PaaS (VMs,VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers, Azure Front Door, Azure Arc).
Build resilient hybrid-cloud solutions aligned with zero-trust and Stream IT security standards.
Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP,Intune.
Fortinet Network & Security
Configure and manage FortiGate firewalls: policies, NAT, VPN (Client & site-to-siteIPsec), HA, and SD-WAN.
ManageFortiSwitchandFortiAPfor secured campus and branch connectivity.
UtilizeFortiManagerandFortiAnalyzerfor centralized management, analytics, and compliance.
Support network segmentation, secure remote access, and zero-trust enforcement.
Systems Administration & Identity
Support on-prem and cloud identity (AD, Entra ID, SSO, Conditional Access, MFA).
Ensure uptime and performance for critical infrastructure systems.
Support backup/DR strategy based on Stream ITs continuity framework.
Operational Excellence
Serve as Tier III escalation for infrastructure, network, and identity incidents.
Write SOPs, runbooks, and architectural documentation.
Participatein on-call rotation and scheduled maintenance windows.
Partner with Help Desk, Infrastructure, and Business Ops teams.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
5 years experiencein infrastructure engineeringor similar roles.
Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet firewalls and technologies.
Advanced Azure experience acrosscompute, networking, identity, and automation.
Hybrid AD/Entra ID administration experience.
Strong networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, VPN).
Automation experience with PowerShell, Terraform, or similar.
Preferred Qualifications
Fortinet NSE 46 certifications.
Microsoft AZ-104, AZ-305, or AZ-500 certifications.
Experience with Intune, M365 security, and configuration baselines.
Familiarity with Halo ITSM.
Experience supporting SOC 2 / NIST CSF compliance.
Competencies
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Clear communicatorwith excellent documentation habits.
Leadership mindset and ability to mentor junior engineers.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Work Requirements
Ability tolift upto 25 lbs. Of IT equipment.
Occasional after-hoursmaintenance and on-call work.
Hybrid or onsite presence as required by Stream IT.
Up to 10% travel, depending on the project.
