Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and related frameworks (e.g., Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony).
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following industry best practices.
- Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs and web services.
- Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and security.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality software.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 25 years of experience in PHP development (for mid-level role).
- Strong proficiency in PHP 7 /8, MySQL, and OOP (Object-Oriented Programming).
- Experience with one or more PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony).
- Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks like Vue.js, React, or Angular is a plus.
- Understanding of MVC architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with Composer, Docker, or CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., PHPUnit).
