Summary Of This Role

This GCP DevSecOps engineer role will be reviewing and assessing the security of applications and infrastructure as part of our Data Center Migration projects. The GCP DevSecOps engineer will also participate in the global cloud security team, helping to iteratively enhance the overall security of thepany.

What Part Will You Play?

• Provide security oversight and assist development Scrum/Flex teams
• Review services as the scrum team prepares to migrate them from the mainframe.
• Perform security assessments on each service, taking into consideration corporate security standards, PCI requirements, and GCP best practices. Define new security standards for new services and share them with the rest of the Cloud Security team.
• Contribute to security andpliance automation projects
• Threat-modeling & risk analysis
• Training
• Oversee development, maintenance and support of our development pipelines, which support our Continuous Integration, Automated Provisioning and Continuous Delivery capabilities across both our cloud and on-prem platforms.
• Subject Matter Expert in infrastructure, development, operations, security and quality assurance, with proven experience with DevOps and Agile practices.
• Security event monitoring of runtime environments on GCP
• Point of contact for account teams as it relates to Cloud security, automation, CI/CD, and DevSecOps
• Work with stakeholders to define and drive continuous improvements in policies, procedures, and technical controls related to DevOps and Cloud security.
  
  

What Are We Looking For in This Role?

Minimum Qualifications

• 5 years GCP, 5 years application or infrastructure architecture
• Experience working in an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) environment, and a willingness to help define security standards for use by multiple teams.
• BS inputer Science, Information Technology, Business / Management Information Systems or related field

• Professional Cloud Security Engineer, CCSP, CISSP

Knowledge Or Experience With Broad Array Of Security Technologies Such As NextGen Firewall, WAF, SIEM SIEM Integration

Integrating consoles into splunk, like Ternable, Redlock, etc. Cloud Experience

GCP CLI, API, and Console,GCP Config Service Catalog, CloudFormation, Control Tower

Operating Systems

• Linux distributions including one or more for the following: Ubuntu, CentOS/RHEL,
