The Director, Organizational Insights Head – Global Functions & Organizational Effectiveness, serves as the senior leader responsible for defining and executing the people insights strategy across all corporate functions in close partnership with the Senior HR Officer. Additionally, this leader oversees the Organizational Design capability, leading the development and deployment of methodology and framework for organizational design, structural governance, spans & layers, and more.
Responsibilities
People Insights Leadership for Corporate Functions
- Lead the development and execution of a people insights strategy focused specifically on corporate functions (e.g., Finance, Risk, HR), including human capital metrics, productivity indicators, leadership pipeline insights, attrition trends, employee sentiment insights, and organizational health analytics.
- Serve as a trusted partner to senior HR and business leadership for all matters related to and supported by human capital data and insights. Understand their priorities and translate them into requirements for data science and engineering teams.
- Deliver proactive and ad‑hoc insights that identify trends, risks, and opportunities in hiring, performance, retention, sentiment and business outcomes.
- Ensure analytics deliver actionable insights tied to functions’ strategy and operating model.
- Promote data literacy as well as responsible and ethical use of HR data.
Organizational Design Leadership
- Oversee the design of future-state structures, operating models, and governance frameworks for large organizational changes.
- Lead enterprise standards for spans and layers, role clarity, accountability structures, and decision-rights architecture.
- Drive structural assessments that evaluate efficiency, health, and alignment to strategic goals.
- Support major transformation programs with organization design expertise, modeling, and scenario planning.
- Maintain enterprise-wide organizational taxonomies and structural guidelines.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead, mentor, and grow a global team of people insights and organizational design professionals, establishing operating models, priorities, and standards.
- Build enterprise capability through playbooks, toolkits, role clarity guides, and training for HR and business leaders.
- Foster a culture of analytical rigor, intellectual curiosity, strategic influence, and high-quality execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Organization Design, Organizational Behavior, Organizational Psychology or a related field is preferred.
- Extensive experience in analytics, data strategy, or business strategy in a large, complex global organization.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business and HR needs into appropriate analyses and complex results into clear and actionable insights.
- Proven track record of effective stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders.
- Deep knowledge of HR data, systems, and processes and proficiency in partnering with data engineering, and data science teams to shape dashboards, models, and self-service capabilities.
- Strong analytical and statistical acumen with the ability to apply methods to workforce and business challenges.
- Effective collaborator within complex environments, with strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate analytics into HR and business decision processes and deliver measurable impact.
- Proven track record leading, coaching, and developing high-performing analytics or advisory teams.
