Position Summary

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the Director, Supply Chain & Procurement is a

hands-on leader responsible for all sourcing, planning, inventory, supplier quality, logistics, and material

availability. This role drives long-term supply chain strategies while actively supporting daily

manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy Sourcing

 Develop and execute supply chain strategies, strategic sourcing programs, and supplier

development initiatives aligned with growth objectives.

 Lead Sales Operations Planning (SOP), long-range capacity planning, and business

continuity/risk mitigation plans.

Daily Operations Logistics

 Oversee procurement, planning, inventory control, and logistics activities.

 Optimize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) utilization to drive daily production priorities and

resolve supplier delivery bottlenecks.

Supplier Quality Delivery Assurance

 Drive supplier on-time delivery performance through rigorous KPI management and capacity

assessments.

 Partner with Quality Assurance to execute supplier audits, SCARs, root cause analyses, PPAP,

and FAI activities.

Continuous Improvement Compliance

 Lead Kaizen events, Rapid Improvement Events (RIEs), and Lean Six Sigma initiatives to build

scalable supply chain processes.

 Ensure strict adherence to AS9100 quality requirements, ITAR regulations, and FAR/DFARS flow-

down standards.

Qualifications

 Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.

 Experience:

o 6 years of progressive supply chain and procurement experience in aerospace

manufacturing (strictly required).

o 3 years of leadership experience in aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing.

 Technical Skills: Strong hands-on ERP/MRP experience; working knowledge of Laboratory

Control Source (LCS) requirements; proven supplier negotiation skills.

 Preferred Certifications: APICS (CPIM, CSCP, CLTD), CPSM, or Lean Six Sigma Certification.
