Janitorial Worker - Restroom Cleaning for Little Rock location

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in commercial and residential settings.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors through buffing and floor care techniques.
• Conduct industrial cleaning as needed, ensuring all areas meet health and safety standards.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and spaces.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts according to company policies.
• Provide porter services by moving furniture or equipment as required for events or maintenance activities.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, requesting replenishments when necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
• Familiarity with buffing machines and floor care techniques is advantageous.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
