What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant position at Executive Search Placement?
Executive Search Placement is partnering with an excellent Manufacturing & Gaming Company in Las Vegas who is in search of a Senior Accountant to support their shared services Accounting Function across a family of privately held companies with a primary focus on manufacturing operations and multi-entity corporate accounting.
Compensation: $95,000–$105,000, DOE
What You'll Own:
- Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparation (GAAP)
- Month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- General ledger integrity and internal controls
- Intercompany accounting, cost allocations, and multi-entity consolidations
- ERP data management (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central)
- Cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning
- Multi-jurisdiction tax filings (Sales & Use, Payroll, State B&O, Nevada MBT/Commerce Tax)
- Manufacturing cost accounting, job costing, and inventory valuation
- Financial and cost-analysis support to hospitality/gaming operations
- Audit support, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 7 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong GAAP and private-company reporting background
- Multi-entity/intercompany accounting and consolidations experience
- Manufacturing cost accounting experience
- Hands-on ERP experience, Business Central strongly preferred
- Advanced Excel skills
- CPA or CPA candidate a plus
