Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and sanitation procedures to uphold hygiene standards.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, and floor polishers efficiently and safely.
• Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures for all surfaces, ensuring a spotless environment.
• Manage laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens with care.
• Handle manual lifting of furniture, appliances, or heavy items safely during deep cleaning or moving tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas when required, including patios or entryways.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs and provide personalized housekeeping services.
• Use appropriate cleaning detergents and supplies while adhering to safety guidelines for chemical handling.
• Manage time efficiently to complete all assigned tasks within scheduled periods without compromising quality.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment for optimal performance and longevity.

Experience

• Experience in residential or commercial cleaning roles with an understanding of janitorial and custodial practices.
• Hands-on experience with various cleaning techniques such as carpet cleaning, floor polishing, and surface sanitation.
• Knowledge of cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and safe handling procedures for chemicals used in sanitation.
• Familiarity with laundry processes including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and stain removal.
• Experience in outdoor work environments is a plus for maintaining exterior areas when needed.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about their preferences and needs.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently during deep cleans or move-ins/move-outs.

Pay: $12.00 per hour
