Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, bed making, and bathroom sanitation using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents.
• Handle chemical agents safely by adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and proper chemical handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms to uphold high standards of sanitation and floor care.
• Conduct heavy lifting tasks when necessary, such as moving furniture or supplies, following manual handling safety protocols.
• Use specialized cleaning equipment effectively to ensure floors are spotless through floor cleaning and floor care techniques.
• Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to ensure safety for guests and staff in all situations.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and ensuring their comfort throughout their stay.

Skills

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality environments with knowledge of hotel housekeeping management practices.
• Strong skills in floor cleaning, vacuuming, sanitation, and general cleaning techniques.
• Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly while maintaining safety standards.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment and tools used in professional housekeeping settings.
• Excellent manual handling skills for heavy lifting and moving supplies safely.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude toward guests and team members.
• Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety data sheets (SDS) to ensure a secure environment at all times.
