National building supply company needs a New Product Development Specialist to collaborate with customers, engineers, and marketing and sales teams to develop new products for retail and industrial customer solutions.
- Bring new idea from drawing board to the sales shelf.
- Define and refine product requirements for new launches and enhancements, ensuring they meet the needs of our diverse user base.
- Understand end-user needs and analyze markets to position products for success.
- Balance customer expectations, business objectives, and manufacturing considerations making smart, data-driven recommendations that drive impact.
- Ensure product attributes create a positive end-user value proposition.
- Work with quality, engineering, and operations to assess product changes and create documentation.
- Maintain knowledge of market for competitive products.
- Review user documentation regarding product features, proper usage, and expected performance.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5 to 8 years in product development.
- Comprehensive understanding of marketing, product management, and technical support for products
