What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Superintendent position at Executive Recruiters?
Currently seeking a Site Supervisor for a high-end residential general contractor based in and doing work mainly in Boston and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will possess 5 years of site supervisor experience and preferably have a few of those years in luxury residential experience and institutional work.
Responsibilities of the Site Supervisor - High End Residential Construction:
- Responsible for overseeing work of all trades (site work, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, steel, etc.)
- Effectively manage on-site activities from demolition through to final punch list.
- Manages staff and subcontractors by evaluating, monitoring and controlling performance.
- Works with Project Manager to meet construction budget by monitoring project expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions.
- Accomplishes construction project results by managing project purpose and scope; calculating resources required; establishing standards and protocols; allocating resources; scheduling and coordinating staff and subcontractors; evaluating milestone assumptions and conclusions; resolving design problems; evaluating and implementing change orders.
- Prevents fines and interruptions by complying with, and enforcing codes.
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
Requirements of the Site Supervisor - High End Residential Construction:
- Minimum 3 years of site supervisor luxury residential experience preferred
- Must possess the knowledge and experience to direct construction-related personnel and interact with clients while successfully planning, coordinating and safely executing the work in accordance with the contract documents, schedule and budget.
