Unarmed Security Patrol Officer – Apartment Community (Part-Time)
Position: Unarmed Security Patrol Officer
Location: Apartment Community (In Person)
Available Schedule
Coverage is needed for the following shifts:
- Thursday-Monday: 11:00 PM – 4:00 AM
Applicants must have open availability and be able to work evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

We are currently seeking a dependable, professional Unarmed Security Patrol Officer to provide security services at a residential apartment community. Job Responsibilities
As an Unarmed Security Patrol Officer, you will play a vital role in protecting residents, visitors, and property by maintaining a visible security presence and responding professionally to incidents.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct interior and exterior foot and vehicle patrols throughout the property.
- Monitor the premises for suspicious activity, unauthorized persons, safety hazards, theft, vandalism, or criminal activity.
- Enforce property rules and policies while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Control access to the property when required.
- Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, alarms, and resident concerns.
- De-escalate conflicts and document incidents accurately.
- Complete detailed daily activity reports and incident reports.
- Communicate effectively with residents, property management, law enforcement, and emergency responders.
- Maintain a professional appearance and exceed client expectations.
Preferred Qualifications
EPG Security prefers applicants who have:
- Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience (preferred but not required)
- Strong observation and situational awareness skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Experience with CCTV surveillance systems
- Knowledge of conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques
- First Aid and CPR certification (preferred)
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
- Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must possess excellent communication and report-writing skills.
- Must have open availability.
- Must be available to work evenings, overnight shifts, and weekends.
- Professional appearance and dependable attendance are required.
