General Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol designated premises to deter unauthorized access, theft, and vandalism
- Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems and other security technology to identify potential threats
- Control access points by verifying identities of visitors, employees, contractors, and vendors
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies by following established protocols and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
- Manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact, de-escalating disputes effectively
- Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security documentation accurately and promptly
- Maintain and exceed client expectations
EPG prefers applicants who have:
- Experience in law enforcement, military service, or prior security work is highly preferred
- Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and familiarity with loss prevention techniques
- Ability to perform first aid and CPR in emergency situations; additional certifications are a plus
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Excellent observation skills with attention to detail during patrols and inspections
- Physical fitness to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods as needed
