What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Executive Property Management?
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician / Handyman to support the upkeep and repair of a residential property portfolio consisting of single-family homes and multifamily buildings.
The Maintenance Technician will handle day-to-day repairs, preventative maintenance, unit turnovers, and emergency calls as needed.
Responsibilities
- General repairs: plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, doors, locks, and fixtures
- Unit turnovers and move-in readiness
- Preventative maintenance (filters, smoke/CO detectors, seasonal tasks)
- Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues
- Communicate repair needs and document completed work
REQUIREMENTS:
- 10 years maintenance experience
- Must have your own reliable transportation (truck or van)
- Must have a valid driver's license and insurance
- Must live locally (within 10 miles of Villanova)
- Must have your own tools/equipment
- Must have strong plumbing, electrical, and carpentry knowledge and skills
- Strongly prefer candidates with experience in Appliance Repairs
- Strongly prefer candidates with experience in Boiler/Furnace/Heating System repairs
- Must be able to pass a background check
