Our client , an established fashion company in NYC is seeking a Production Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities;
- Manage the Production process with overseas factories including placing fabric during the development stage of the product life style
- Work on costing during the development stage
- Implement and monitor WIP reports seasonal time/action calendars in order to achieve required delivery
- Negotiate with overseas factories on costing meeting margin requirements
- Coordinate the production process with overseas factories
- Track production status through T&A reports
- Allocate and follow up on product development packages sent to overseas factories for sampling and approvals
- Implement and monitor WIP reports seasonal time/action calendars to achieve required delivery
- Track all fabric development and trim orders
- Resolve issues and manage inventories.
- Work with Fabric Development team and designers overseeing samples fit approvals, trim, and color approval adhering to company guidelines and quality assurance
Skills
- Bachelor degree in Fashion
- 3 plus years in production
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel
- Attention to detail
